Installing Movies47 on your Firestick takes about five minutes and doesn’t require any technical know-how. Whether you’ve got a basic Fire TV Stick Lite or the flagship Fire TV Cube, the process is identical — and this guide walks through every screen you’ll see.
Before you start
You’ll need three things: an active Movies47 subscription (or free trial), your Xtream Codes credentials from the welcome email, and a working internet connection on your Firestick. We recommend at least 15 Mbps for smooth HD streaming and 35 Mbps for 4K channels.
- Your Movies47 Xtream Codes (URL, username, password)
- A Firestick connected to Wi-Fi or Ethernet

Step 1 — Enable installation from unknown apps
By default, Firestick blocks side-loaded applications. We need to flip this setting before installing the player.
- From the Firestick home screen, open Settings (gear icon in the top row).
- Navigate to My Fire TV → Developer Options.
- If you don’t see Developer Options, return to My Fire TV, highlight About, and click the remote’s select button 7 times.
- Turn on Apps from Unknown Sources.
Step 2 — Install the Downloader app
Downloader is a free, Amazon-approved utility that lets you install APKs from a URL. It’s the safest way to get third-party IPTV players onto the Firestick.
- From the Firestick home, highlight the magnifying glass and search for "Downloader".
- Select the orange Downloader icon and click Download/Get.
- Once installed, open Downloader and allow the storage permission it requests.
Step 3 — Install IPTV Smarters Pro
IPTV Smarters Pro is the player we recommend for Firestick. It’s fast, stable, and supports both Xtream Codes and M3U formats.
- In Downloader, type the URL your Movies47 welcome email provides (or visit the Install Guide page on this site).
- Press Go. Downloader will fetch the APK — this usually takes 20–60 seconds.
- When the prompt appears, click Install.
- Once complete, click Done, then Delete the APK to free up space.
Step 4 — Log in with your Xtream Codes
This is the moment your subscription connects to the app. Open IPTV Smarters Pro, accept the terms, and choose "Login with Xtream Codes API".
- Any Name field: type "Movies47" (this is just a label for you).
- Username: paste the username from your welcome email.
- Password: paste the password from your welcome email.
- URL: paste the portal URL (starts with http:// and ends with a port).
- Click Add User. The app will verify and pull in all your channels.

Step 5 — Start your first stream
Once logged in, you’ll see four tiles: Live TV, Movies, Series, and Settings. Open Live TV to browse the full channel list. First launch takes about 30 seconds to build the EPG — after that, switching channels is instant.
We recommend enabling hardware decoding in Settings → Player Selection for the smoothest 4K playback on Firestick.
Troubleshooting checklist
- Buffering: switch to 5 GHz Wi-Fi or connect Ethernet via the official adapter.
- No channels loading: restart the Firestick by holding Home for 3 seconds → Sleep.
- Wrong EPG times: open Settings → General → Time Zone and set it to your region.
